Region 3 takes HRC to the SRS
 

The weather was unbelievable (40 some degrees...cold...windy...rainy) but on Saturday, March 29, 2008 Laura Kramer, Mac and Betty Jones, LC Smith, Dennis Banks and Jo Driver, members from the ECHRC, joined me in Louisburg NC for the SRS to set up the HRC information booth. Our mission was simple - to make as many new contacts for HRC and the ECHRC as possible and in spite of the bad weather we were successful!

Not only did we make new contacts but we were able to set up for Puppy Stakes, Youth Handling and Speed Dog in between the showers. And why did we do this ... the answer is in a reply from one on the dads whose son participated in our doggie events:

Gail, thank you again for the opportunity to let Parker work with such a beautiful dog.  He absolutely loved it and could not stop talking about it when he got home to his mother, brother and all his friends.  It was definitely the highlight of his weekend.  We will check out your club's website and see if there are opportunities for us to attend another event or club practice. The pictures turned out awesome -- thanks so much for sending them on.
