Please read the following Notes and Instructions carefully before beginning the 2007/2008 Judges test.

PLEASE NOTE there are two errors in the 2007/2008 Rule Book. The 1st is Page 40 under DESCRIPTION - the Seasoned Blind maximum distance is 60 yards - NOT 40 yards. The 2nd is page 47 #5, please strike through 'marked' retrieve.  It should read the diversion may be thrown 'as the dog returns from any retrieve'. (The Finished diversion may be thrown as the dog RETURNS from the blind, walk up or any marked retrieve.)

Note:  All HRC Judges are required to take a Rulebook Test every two years in order to maintain their Judges License status.  The purpose of the Judges test is to require those involved in the Judging of HRC Tests to periodically read the entire rulebook and become familiar with new Running Rules changes.

Instructions:  This is an open-book test based on the 2007/2008 HRC Rulebook.  You may consult with your Field Representative or another Judge if you are unsure of any question.  However, the completion of the test is to be by you and is based on your honor.

You must answer a minimum of 19 questions correctly to obtain a passing ‘C’ grade.  If you fail the test, it will be noted in your Judge Record and you will be allowed to retake the test.  If you fail a second time, you will be required to wait 30 days and your License will be placed on ‘hold’ status until the test is completed with a passing grade.
