Frequently Asked Questions... The following are a few frequently asked questions about judging in Hunting Retriever Club, Inc. licensed hunt tests. Please click on any question to go to the answer.
The HRC rulebook lists the requirements for becoming a judge at each of the testing levels. Among a few of the requirements are an individual must have passed a province or state certified hunter safety course, be recommended by their local club, and must have owned, trained, handled and passed a dog at the level they are seeking to judge. And, the individual must be an upland game or waterfowl hunter. An individual must be 21 to judge, and must attend a judging seminar every three years.
