HRC ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY

    Due to the tremendous success and sustained growth of HRC, the need for a full time Administrative Secretary was addressed at the 1998 Board of Directors Meeting with the Board giving authority to the Executive Committee to proceed in securing someone for the position.  Claudene (Christopher) Cooper was later hired as Administrative Secretary.

    Claudene's executive management, computer, computer programming, Web Master and administrative experience is quite extensive.  In addition, she is a long time HRC Member and participant in the HRC program.  She is an avid hunter and her passion is the 'hunting/field' Golden Retriever.  She has been a Member of HRC since 1987 and has 6 Hunting Retriever Champions, 2 Hunting Retrievers and 2 - 500 Club Members - HRCH Sir Charlie II and HRCH Christopher's Chrissy. 

    Claudene served as the first Public Relations Representative for Texas in 1991 & 1992 and 6 years as elected HRC Secretary from 1993 to 1999.      She has been a licensed AA Finished Judge since 1989 - judging over 100 Licensed Hunts, has served as Grand Hunt Secretary 16 times, and is in her 14th year as Secretary/Treasurer of her home Club, Permian Basin HRC in Big Spring, TX.  She is a member of the Board of Directors & Secretary of the HRC Foundation, Inc.  Claudene was honored by the Hunting Retriever Club, Inc. Board of Directors in 1999 with an Honorary Lifetime Membership.

    In addition to all administrative matters for HRC, she implements the 500/1000 Clubs, Memorial/Honor Program, Membership Cards, is responsible for approval and Licensing of all of HRC Judges, approval of all Judges for our Hunts and is the Webmaster for www.HuntingRetrieverClub.org
